Kippo-Graph 0.4 released, introducing Kippo-Geo!

New version of Kippo-Graph released, with brand new features!

I have utilized the “QGoogleVisualizationAPI” PHP Wrapper for Google’s Visualization API by Thomas Schäfer and Kippo-Graph now has a component called Kippo-Geo that extracts geolocation information from the stored IP addresses and visualizes the data using Google Maps.

Download Kippo-Graph 0.4 from here: kippo-graph-0.4

An example of how it looks:

CHANGES:

Version 0.4:
+ Added geolocation features at beta stage, using geoplugin and google maps/charts.
+ Fixed file/folder structure and updated config.php.
+ Added new logo.

Great stuff mate. The only problem i had is when you have a big database, some graph get overcrowded. Maybe its a good idea to mention that you have have php5-gd installed. I ran into that one 😮

Hello Leon, and happy X-Mas. Thanks for commenting on that issue. I thought php was compiled with GD by default on most systems, no? My default Ubuntu Server installation has no problem. What distro have you been using?

Also, can you suggest which graphs are those, so I can put a SQL LIMIT clause or have the user pick a timeframe? Thanks.

Happy Xmas to you too mate ! I used a vanilla Ubuntu distro (workstation, yeah what was I thinking). The timeline graph got overcrowded on my side. I run kippo for one and a half year, so my db is kinda large. Also the ssh client one is unreadable because of overcrowding
