DeltaBot is a simple PHP IRC bot.

It was written solely for educational purposes during the writing of an article on bots and information security for a magazine publication, in order to practically illustrate the inner workings of a traditional botnet.

The list of available commands are self-describable and show its capabilities: !say, !join, !part, !restart, !shutdown, !download, !tsunami, !portscan, !udpflood, !uptime, !server, !system, !version and !help.

Don’t forget to read the disclaimer included in the header of the file.

You will have to upload the PHP file to each client you want to make part of the botnet and then execute it (using a browser for example). The $config array contains the IRC connection details and you can change them to whatever values suit your needs.
