New version of Kippo-Graph: 0.7.1

This is the latest release of Kippo-Graph. The major change in this version is the localization option that has been added to the script, making the chart titles translatable (and more to come).

Many thanks to all the guys that helped so far: Leon (Dutch), Gianluca (Italian) and Erich (Estonian).

If you want to translate the chart strings into a new language please let me know!

Status update

The download links for Kippo-Graph 0.7 has been updated with a new file that contains the tiniest of fixes ever, ie uncommenting a line of code. Also added an API key to supress the Google Map warning.

New version of Kippo-Graph: 0.7 (milestone)

This is the release of a new version of Kippo-Graph, fixing issues with certain charts when you have large Kippo databases and adding 3 extra charts: human activity per week, most successful logins per day, most probes per day. Kippo-Graph now displays a total of 24 charts plus all the other visualization information.

With the mentioned fixes and additions Kippo-Graph is deemed “complete”, thus we have a milestone 0.7 version. Updating is recommended!

Thanks to Leon (@lvdeijk) for providing a database to work with and troubleshoot chart issues.

Status update

After installing the new BT5 R2 earlier this morning, I had trouble playing some of my videos using VLC. It seems that it doesn’t like being run with root privileges (and for a good reason if I might add). BUT, for BackTrack users here is a simple solution: open the /usr/bin/vlc binary file with vi and replace the string geteuid (around 2,1035-1549) with getppid. Save and exit.
