Status update

At last, the folks at SourceForge have managed to solve the HoneyBox to HoneyDrive migration issues. The URLs work fine now and you can download version 0.1 with no problems. Soon, the new 0.2 version will be released, which will be based on Xubuntu.

Status update

A note about the HoneyBox project: I had to change its name to “HoneyDrive” after I found out that the previous one was registered by a company offering a related security appliance. Links pointing to SourceForge will start to work as soon as they edit the project’s unixname.

Announcing HoneyDrive!

UPDATE: This post was about the server version of HoneyDrive which is no longer maintained. I have now released a HoneyDrive Desktop version based on Xubuntu Linux. Honeyd-Viz 0.1 released!

I am happy to announce the release of a new honeypot visualization script: Honeyd-Viz. It is a web interface written in PHP used in conjunction with Honeyd2MySQL script. It uses “Libchart” PHP chart drawing library by Jean-Marc Trémeaux, “QGoogleVisualizationAPI” PHP Wrapper for Google’s Visualization API by Thomas Schäfer and geoPlugin geolocation technology (geoplugin.com).
